Cigar Review - Camacho Triple Maduro

I had a feeling this one was going to pack a punch.  Camacho is known for its full flavored cigars.  I previously reviewed the 10th Anniversary Robusto, which I enjoyably got knocked on my ass.  So the thought of trying out a Triple Maduro was just asking for trouble.  It’s not your average cigar, and has even been labeled by some reviewers as a bit too much.   As I’ve said before, a very rich cigar can often be confused as a harsh smoke.  These cigars sometimes take an acquired taster to appreciate them, but I wouldn’t shy away from these cigars if you don’t feel you fall in that category.  The world of cigars consists of many different blends and flavors, and I always suggest trying as any as you can to broaden your total experience.

Cigar Review - Partagas Black Label Crystal

Yes I know I’ve said I’m currently on a anti-Maduro mood lately, but the look of this cigar is quite intoxicating!  This is definitely one of the boldest cigars on the market.  I was browsing through a liquor store that I sometimes go to when I just want to grab one or two sticks.  I saw a few La Gloria Cubana Maduro’s that really got my cigar senses ticking.  Even still, I decided to move on… Read more »

Cigar Etiquitte For Beginners

One thing that really pops out in my mind when I began smoking cigars is the intimidation factor of all the choices, the knowledge, and constant reminder that I lacked experience.  I guess you can call it the class “outsider” situation.  Now that I look back, I wish I had asked more questions, looked around for a tobacconist that was friendly and knowledgeable, and relaxed a whole lot more.  So I thought I’d give a little refresher course, and hope that I can touch a few beginners to get into the fabulous world of cigars.
